Every year depression is affecting millions of people in the world. Because men are reluctant to discuss male depression with a health care professional, many men are going under depression due to undiagnosed and proper treatment.

They are suffering with the depression because of the stress levels at work and the pressures that life puts on them. Most of the men deny that they are having problems because they feel to be brawny. 40% of the men in their 40s, 50s and 60s will experience difficulties in attaining and sustaining the lethargy, increased irritability that defined male menopause. It is very important to recognize the problem because most of the men will not see themselves their most psychological defense. They may worry about the career and respect in the life of family and friends. The relation between such symptoms and male depression may be overlooked.   • Loss if interest in work hobbies and sex

Treatment of Male Depression

It is important to realize than men may be helped through a variety of approaches including exercise, good diet, individual and group psychotherapy which is very important and most important thing medications, teaching men to regenerate the social life they have lost or never had.
