Snoring, a phrase that appear hilarious to most off the people, is actually a disorder and a suffering for the person who is going through all those restless nights. The major victims of this disorder are those males that are suffering from obesity or are above 40 years of age. Even children can fall pray to this disorder. Those with tonsils and large neck size are first in the queue to get affected by this disorder.

The device that is used to diagnose snoring disorder is known as the polysomnogram. The procedure goes like this. Initially some basic tests are performed to calculate the necessary points like the heart rate, muscle activity, air flow, blood oxygen levels, electrical activity of the brain. All these parameters are calculated under practical sleeping condition. Once the doctors have the desired parameters, then only any step can be taken for the cure.
Thus, instead of laughing at some snoring, it is our moral duty to get him or her diagnosed, so as to avoid the risk of heart failure in future.
